I just did another quick landscape, I shoulda put a neautral backdrop behind it when I took the picture...

nice work man . If i may add my two cents it : I think you should think about varying the greens in the grass as they recede in to the distance . yellow is the first color to go when your picture plane recedes. Also . I love the main shape of the clouds but and while I'm not sure if its the photo I think if you lighten the sky on the entire bottom and ad a lliiiiiitle bit of yellow ( like naples or yellow ochre ) it will be more harmonious w/everything . GReat job on the landscapes dude , you should keep on w/ the oils , maybe combine it with your digital stuff for your illustrations , might be something interesting

Thanks for the advice Ray, I'll try out what you mentioned. I wan to build a good body of this sort of work so I'm super open to trying all sorts of things in them. I'm trying to approach them in a very "precious" way that makes it easier to experiment.
